ABOUT WASTE RECYCLING SERVICES
WRS provides commercial waste equipment sales, installation, and on-site service across South Florida — including balers, compactors, hydraulic cylinder rebuilds, custom fabrication, and ongoing preventive maintenance.
Our dispatch hub is in Pompano Beach, Florida (Broward County). All service trucks roll from and return to that location, which is how we maintain consistent coverage across the region.
WRS was founded in 2004 and is still family-owned. Over the past two decades, the team has grown to a fleet of service technicians supporting some of the largest commercial operators in South Florida.
Our customers include grocery stores, retail chains, condominiums and apartment buildings, hospitals, hotels, distribution centers, manufacturers, and property management groups across South Florida.
ON-SITE REPAIR AND EMERGENCY SERVICE
Yes. WRS responds to emergency service calls as quickly as possible — nights, weekends, and holidays included. The fastest way to reach us is by phone.
Yes. Our technicians service every major brand of baler and compactor running in South Florida, regardless of where the equipment was originally purchased or installed.
Hydraulic systems, electrical and control panels, cylinder rebuilds, structural welding, hose replacement, safety interlocks, and the wear-and-tear failures that come with daily commercial use. If it’s on the equipment, we work on it.
You call or submit a request, we collect details about the equipment and the issue, and dispatch a technician to your facility. Our trucks arrive stocked with parts and tools to finish the repair on the first visit whenever possible.
Yes. Every service visit is documented with a written work order covering what was diagnosed, what was repaired or replaced, and a signed completion record.
NEW, REFURBISHED, AND INSTALL SERVICES
Yes. WRS sells new commercial balers and compactors, sourced from established manufacturers and matched to your facility’s waste volume, space, and operation.
Yes. Refurbished balers and compactors are inspected, repaired, and recommissioned by our team before sale — a cost-effective alternative when new isn’t the right fit.
Yes. WRS handles on-site installation, commissioning, and operator training as part of any new or refurbished equipment purchase.
Yes. Removal and disposal of replaced equipment is part of our standard install service so you’re not left coordinating it separately.
SCHEDULED SERVICE CONTRACTS
Yes. PM contracts cover scheduled inspections, lubrication, wear-part replacement, and safety verification at intervals tailored to your equipment and operation.
Typical PM visits include hydraulic system checks, electrical and control verification, safety interlock testing, lubrication, and inspection of wear components like seals, hoses, and contactors.
Yes. WRS handles multi-site PM and service contracts for chains, property managers, and regional operators, with a single point of contact across all locations.
Scheduled service surfaces issues before they become outages, extends the working life of the equipment, and keeps safety components in compliance — which is usually cheaper than dealing with a failure after it happens.
REPLACEMENT PARTS AND HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS
Yes. Our service trucks are fully stocked with commonly needed parts, and our shop maintains inventory across the major brands of balers and compactors we service.
Often, yes. Our team has experience tracking down parts for older models and, where original parts aren’t available, we can fabricate or substitute equivalents through our in-shop fabrication capability.
Yes. In-shop hydraulic cylinder reseal and rebuild is a core service. Rebuilt cylinders are bench-tested before reinstall.
