Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance

Scheduled service that keeps your equipment running.

Most commercial equipment failures aren’t sudden. They’re the end of a slow degradation that a regular maintenance visit could have caught. WRS provides scheduled preventive maintenance plans for balers and compactors across South Florida, sized to your facility and your equipment.

A PM contract surfaces issues before they become outages, extends the working life of your equipment, and keeps safety components in compliance. One contract, one schedule, one point of contact for your team.

PM Plan Options

SINGLE-SITE & MULTI-SITE PLANS

PM plans are sized to your operation. Single-property or full portfolio — we’ll scope the right intervals and the right inspection depth.

What a PM visit covers

What a scheduled maintenance visit looks like.

Every PM visit follows the same checklist. The technician documents what they checked, what they found, and what they did — on a signed inspection report.

Hydraulic system check

Cylinder, hose, fitting, and pump inspection. Pressure verification, fluid level and condition check, leak detection around seals and connections.

Electrical & controls

Control panel inspection, contactor and relay verification, sensor calibration, and motor and connection checks for signs of wear.

Safety interlock testing

E-stop, door interlock, gate switch, and guard inspection. Functional testing of every safety component on the equipment.

Wear-part inspection

Inspection of cycle-cycle wear components — bearings, bushings, blades, knives, gibs, and any parts approaching replacement intervals.

Lubrication & fluids

Greasing of pivot points and wear surfaces. Top-up or change of hydraulic fluid, gearbox fluid, and any other fluids on the equipment.

Documented inspection report

Written report of everything inspected, the condition of each system, parts that need attention soon, and the date of the next scheduled visit.

FAQ

Common questions about preventive maintenance.

Don’t see your question?

Call us at (954) 444-4938 — we’re happy to walk through it.

Scheduled inspection visits at intervals tailored to your equipment — typically quarterly, semi-annual, or annual. Each visit includes hydraulic, electrical, and safety system checks, lubrication, wear-part inspection, and a documented inspection report.

It depends on the equipment, the duty cycle, and the operating environment. High-volume facilities like grocery and distribution sites typically benefit from quarterly visits; lighter-use environments may run on a semi-annual or annual schedule.

PM contracts cover scheduled inspections and the work performed during those visits. Emergency repairs outside the scheduled visits are handled separately, but PM clients typically receive priority dispatch on emergency calls.

Yes. WRS handles multi-site preventive maintenance contracts for retail chains, property management portfolios, hospital systems, and multifamily operators — with consolidated reporting and a single dispatch contact across all locations.
