Equipment Refurbishing
Used balers and compactors, restored to working condition.
WRS refurbishes used commercial balers and compactors in our Pompano Beach shop. A refurbish means a full teardown, replacement of worn components, hydraulic and electrical rebuild, repaint, and recommissioning — equipment ready for another working life at a fraction of the cost of buying new.
Refurbishing is in-shop work, not field work — it happens at our facility, not yours. We can also handle the pickup of equipment from your site as part of a trade-in or upgrade, and delivery of refurbished units once they’re ready.
Refurbished Balers & Compactors
We refurbish commercial balers and compactors across every major brand — for resale, for buy-back-and-replace deals, or for your own equipment when refurbishing makes more sense than buying new.
Refurbished Balers
Vertical and horizontal balers, fully torn down, rebuilt, and recommissioned. The most common refurbish category — balers see consistent demand and refurbish well when the structure is sound.

Refurbished Compactors
Self-contained and stationary compactors, with hydraulic and electrical rebuilds, structural inspection, and refinish. Common refurbish category for distribution and multifamily applications.

Every piece of equipment that comes through our refurbishing program follows the same process. The result is a unit that’s been touched at every component before it goes back out.
Full teardown & inspection
Equipment is broken down to its frame, with every system component pulled and inspected. Anything past its working life is set aside for replacement.
Hydraulic system rebuild
Cylinders are rebuilt or replaced, hoses and fittings are replaced, pumps and valves are tested and serviced. The hydraulic system is the heart of the equipment and gets the most attention.
Electrical & controls overhaul
Control panel inspection and rebuild, contactor and relay replacement, sensor and switch testing, motor service, and rewiring where needed.
Wear-part replacement
Bearings, bushings, blades, knives, gibs, gates, and any cycle-cycle wear components are replaced with new parts.
Repaint & restoration
Frame is media-blasted, primed, and repainted. Safety decals, operator instructions, and brand markings are restored to factory condition or refreshed.
Recommissioning & test cycle
Reassembled equipment runs through a full test cycle under load. Hydraulic pressure, cycle timing, and safety interlocks are all verified before the unit leaves the shop.

Common questions about refurbishing.
Don’t see your question?
Call us at (954) 444-4938 — we’re happy to walk through it.
Refurbishing happens in our Pompano Beach shop, not on your site. The equipment is picked up from your facility, fully refurbished at our shop, and delivered when complete. The shop environment is what makes a thorough teardown and rebuild possible.
A service call or PM visit happens at your facility and addresses specific issues or scheduled inspection items. Refurbishing is a full equipment rebuild — teardown, component replacement, hydraulic and electrical overhaul, repaint, and recommissioning. It produces equipment in like-new working condition.
Yes. If your equipment is structurally sound but worn out from years of service, refurbishing can extend its working life significantly. We pick up from your site, refurbish in our shop, and deliver the unit back to you ready for install.
Yes. We sell refurbished balers and compactors from our inventory — equipment that’s been fully rebuilt in our shop and is ready for installation. It’s often the right option when buying new isn’t a fit for the budget or timeline.
It depends on the equipment, the scope of work, and parts availability. Most refurbishes run several weeks from pickup to delivery. We’ll give you a real timeline when you call — and a written quote before the work begins.
Yes. Every refurbished unit leaves our shop fully tested and is warranted against defects in workmanship and the parts we install. Specific terms are confirmed when you take delivery.
