Service & Repairs
On-site service and emergency repair for commercial waste equipment.
When equipment goes down, the cost adds up quickly — backed-up loading docks, missed pickups, frustrated tenants. WRS dispatches fully-equipped technicians directly to your facility, day or night, to diagnose and fix the issue.
We service every major brand of baler and compactor running in South Florida, plus dock equipment, hydraulic systems, and the support equipment that keeps a back-of-house running. One number, one team, one invoice.
BALERS, COMPACTORS & SUPPORT EQUIPMENT
Two equipment categories cover most of what we’re called out for. Not sure which one applies to you? Call us — we’ll sort it out.
Balers
Vertical and horizontal balers across every major manufacturer running in South Florida. Most of our service calls run on balers in grocery, retail, condos, and strip-mall properties.

Compactors
Self-contained, stationary, and apartment-trash-chute compactors. Higher-volume jobs at distribution sites, hospitals, and multifamily properties.

If any of these sound familiar, give us a call. Most of these are things our technicians have seen many times before.
Equipment won’t turn on
The baler or compactor is dead — no power, no cycle, or the control panel is showing an error. Usually electrical, sometimes a safety switch.
Slow or weak cycle
The equipment runs but takes forever to compress, or the bales and loads are coming out loose. Usually a hydraulic issue.
Hydraulic fluid leak
Fluid pooling around the equipment. Could be a hose, a fitting, or a worn cylinder seal. We carry the fix on the truck.
Ram or platen is stuck
The ram pushed down and won’t come back up. Could be a jam, a stuck valve, or something more involved — we’ll figure it out.
Control panel error
The equipment is reporting a fault, an error code, or won’t complete its cycle. Often a sensor or contactor problem.
Failed safety inspection
An inspector or insurance audit flagged something — missing guards, a broken e-stop, or another safety concern. We can fix and document.
